Our ABS Performance Teams have been competing and performing throughout Queensland since 1980, in eisteddfods, festivals, fetes, fundraising galas and community events.  Being a member of our team has always been a fun and rewarding part of our students’ dance journey. Learning how to be gracious in success and in defeat and learning the important life skill of being a part of a team is invaluable for our dancers.

The lifelong friendships and performance opportunities have made our teams such an incredible part of the Ashfield Ballet family experience.  We are highly successful in eisteddfods in all dance styles and certain routines and choreography have become classics over the years that students have loved being a part of.

We celebrate our teams as well as every dancer who has been a part of our performance teams over the years.  Our teams have great success in every eisteddfod competition and we are so proud of each member and their commitment to our eisteddfod team rehearsals and performances.  The performance experience is an important factor in creating a well-balanced artist and we are passionate about giving our dancers great opportunities throughout every year.

Students are invited based on their work ethic, enthusiasm, natural talent and artistic ability, examination results, dedication and love for dance.
